As soon as Tyana walked into my hospital room, I felt more at ease. I had a long labour, so she took over for my other doula. I didn’t know her prior to the moment she walked in! And I instantly felt at ease. She made me feel so comfortable. My labour was a TOLAC (trial of labour after cesarean) and it wasn’t an easy one. It was long, filled with fears and minor complications. Tyana stuck by my side through every moment of it. She was with me all day and all night and refused to leave my side until I had my baby. I truly believe she played a huge part in helping me get my successful VBAC! (Vaginal birth after cesarean.)
I think all doulas like her should wear capes. My doulas will forever be my heros. I truly do not think I would have had the birth I dreamed of if it wasn’t for them, and God made sure I had the right ones by my side! I’d recommend Tyana to EVERYONE!
